Sketchbook Social

Join us for a relaxed and social sketching session at The Turnpike Gallery! Enjoy a brew, mingle with other sketchers, and soak up inspiration from the OPEN: New Art from Leigh & Wigan exhibition. No sketchbook? No problem! We’ve got you covered with free paper and drawing materials. Work on your drawing skills and make new connections in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
Drop-in any time between 1-3pm. Hot drinks, drawing materials, clipboards and stools provided. Please note this is an informal meetup and not a drawing lesson, no formal drawing tuition will be provided.

Access info: The Turnpike Gallery Studio is on the 1st floor of Leigh Library. There is ramped access to the building and a lift to take you to the 1st floor. Toilets including an accessible toilet are available on the 1st floor.
