Join the celebrations as Parbold Village Show marks 250 years of the village’s rich canal heritage with a day packed full of entertainment, activities and community spirit!
The show bursts into life with the infectious Afro-Brazilian rhythms of SambAfriq, setting the stage for an exciting lineup of performances from the Lancashire Wallopers, StarKidz, McKinstry Family Karate, AJL Dance Studio, and talented pupils from local schools.
For those eager to try something new, aerial silk workshops will be running throughout the day – an opportunity to experience the thrill of circus skills firsthand.
Visitors can browse a fantastic selection of artisan stalls, enjoy the nostalgia of a traditional fairground, and sample delicious food and drinks from a variety of vendors, including a well-stocked bar.
No visit would be complete without stepping into the Show Tent, where locals will showcase their finest talents in horticulture, crafts, baking, and more – competing for the event’s most coveted prizes.
And of course, well behaved four-legged friends are welcome too!
