How do I collect my participant pack?
You can collect sunglasses and paint on the day from the registration desk located in the main reception in the Arena.
What should I wear?
Be sure to wear light coloured clothing that you don’t mind getting too messy (the coloured powder is washable but may take a few washes before it comes out and may stain pale colours – so we don’t want you to take any chances!). Most importantly, make sure you have some sensible footwear.
Do I have to run the whole course?
Not if you don’t want to. We would like as many people as possible to take part in the event and this at whatever speed and pace you are comfortable with.
Will the coloured powder harm the environment?
The powdered paint is completely non-hazardous and biodegradable. We will clean up as much as we can after the event but the powder disappears into the ground surprisingly quickly.
Bolton Hospice
Your entry fee also covers a donation to Bolton Hospice, as part of Bolton Arena’s charity of the year. Our consultant-led team of doctors, nurses and other professional staff provide expert care and support for local people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses and their families, in the hospice and at home. We not only take care of patients’ physical needs, we consider their emotional, spiritual and social needs too. And we support families and close friends, both during illness and in bereavement
We care for patients throughout their illness, helping to improve their wellbeing and quality of life. We also provide compassionate, dedicated and dignified care for patients at the end of their life.
