Julie McKiernan is a local writer and creative writing tutor who specialises in bringing heritage to life through scripts, books, talks, tours and essays. This event will uncover the heritage and language of Haigh Hall’s residents and staff from bygone times.

Julie has also had plays performed and workshopped by professional theatre companies, and used them to train health and social care professionals. She is a qualified tutor with over thirty years’ experience teaching Writing and Drama.

This workshop takes place on the first floor of the Stables Courtyard, in the Classroom. There is a lift to the first floor, accessible toilets on the ground floor and accessible parking.
The workshop is aimed at adults but is suitable for ages 14+ whether you are a beginner or a more experienced writer.
